Services

Inspiring Kids is a tutoring and wellbeing hub, currently working with families in the Bath and Bournemouth areas.

Our mission is to support “the whole child”, as we realise that success at school is dependent on much more than academic ability. For many children, there are other challenges in their lives which prevent them from reaching their full academic and personal potential, and we are here to help.

To that end, our service range is broad, and extends beyond academic tutoring, into more nurturing and therapeutic services.

Educating, empowering, inspiring.

Tutoring

For some children, the key is academic support, and we have an excellent selection of talented, caring and committed tutors, who are all fully qualified teachers and personally vetted by us. So if you are looking for an academic tutor for your child, then get in touch today.

We offer tutors in a range of subjects and can provide tutoring for a variety of educational needs, for primary and secondary age children.

Our tutors can help with SATs or exam preparation, including entrance exams, 11-plus, GCSE and A-level. We also have tutors who can support children with learning difficulties and SEN, or who can simply help to boost a child’s confidence in a given subject.

Many of our tutors have specific experience and/or qualifications in dyslexia, autism, anxiety and other special needs.

Our tutors cover all main academic subjects, as well the as less obvious subjects of Mandarin, Latin, Art and Music.

Therapeutic Approaches

Some young people find school life and learning more challenging than others and may feel overwhelmed and anxious. They may need more than educational support, and that’s why Inspiring Kids has developed a network of therapists who are able to support them in the way that suits their own needs and personality.

We have specialists in many different disciplines and skill sets, including Creative therapies,(art, play, drama and movement),  Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Hypnotherapy, Mindfulness, psychodynamic counselling, coaching, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and therapists with new specialisms are continuing to join our team. We also have Solution Focused counsellors who can help your child or young person find confidence, motivation and their own solutions for the challenges they face.

Whether your child is in mainstream education, or if he or she is currently being home schooled, we would love to hear from you, and talk through your child’s needs. We fully understand the effect that an unhappy, frustrated child can have on the whole family, and we are confident we can help you find the support you need.

Inspiring Kids Mentors

Mentors

Does your child find friendships difficult and is spending an increasing amount of time alone? Perhaps they feel more comfortable talking to adults and would benefit from a young adult outside of the family spending quality time with them and offering support, encouragement and fun.

Our mentors have the relevant experience and skills to provide a listening ear, whilst guiding their mentees into engaging with the world in a more positive way.

A mentor can talk to your child about problems that crop up and help set future career goals. Or a mentor and your child might just spend time having fun together. Having a mentor can raise a child’s self-esteem and lead to better performance at school.

If you are an experienced mentor and would like to find out more about working with Inspiring Kids, or to find out more about how a mentor could help with your child, get in touch today.
